With over a decade in fitness, Rachel leads the team with passion and energy. She’s all about empowering women to build strength and create a lifestyle they love.
I’m passionate about empowering women to build strength – both physically and mentally – and to create a lifestyle they love. With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, I’ve earned qualifications as a Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor, Sports Massage Therapist, and Trainee Boxing Coach.
Leading my team is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I thrive on brainstorming fresh ideas, bringing them to life, and creating a fun, energetic, and welcoming environment for our members.
I also put my skills to use in our coffee shop, where I’m a trained barista. Alongside my fitness qualifications, I hold credentials in Digital Marketing (Level 5) and Business & Management (Level 6).
Outside the gym, you’ll usually find me running, gardening, growing my own produce, reading, or spending time with my beloved fur babies.
I’ve been a qualified personal trainer for 9 years and started my own fitness journey 15 years ago. Over that time, I’ve trained in a variety of disciplines including CrossFit, bodybuilding, strongman, calisthenics, and now Hyrox.
I’m a certified Hyrox Level 1 coach and have been competing in Hyrox races for the past 8 months. My qualifications include Personal Training, Strength and Conditioning, Kettlebells, Suspension Training, and both Hyrox Foundation and Level 1 certifications.
What I love most about working here is the team—we’ve built something really special, and you always look forward to coming into work.
When I’m not at the gym, I’m spending time with my wife, our young daughter, and our two dogs.
I’m a versatile fitness professional with a degree in Sports Management and Development with Nutrition and Business, combining academic expertise with extensive hands-on experience in the health and fitness industry.
Currently working as a Gym Assistant, Personal Trainer, and Group Class Instructor, I deliver engaging, results-driven training to a wide range of clients.
With a competitive background in martial arts, Hyrox events, and strength training, I understand the demands of both athletic performance and long-term fitness development. I’ve coached teams in soccer and GAA sports, alongside delivering online fitness coaching tailored to individual goals.
My approach blends evidence-based training methods, practical nutritional strategies, and performance mindset coaching to help clients and teams achieve lasting results.
I work with a lot of people who are looking to get fitter and faster. What I love most about working at The Unit Gym is that everyone is so friendly, and the gym has pretty much every piece of equipment you could ask for – it’s great!
I’m an easy-going, laid-back guy, but I get the work done. I trained for my role with the experienced team at Image Fitness in Dublin and qualified in Spring 2023. I hold Level 3 Fitness Instruction, Level 3 Group Instruction, and Level 4 Personal Trainer qualifications.
When I’m not in the gym, I enjoy a lot of golf. I find it helps with my mood and it’s also great exercise.
I’m currently an intercounty footballer with Offaly Ladies GAA and a past League of Ireland player with Peamount United.
At the gym, I work on reception, as a barista, and handle social media content and marketing. I studied media in my first year of college, which has definitely helped with the content side of things.
I’m also studying to become an English and Geography teacher at Maynooth University.
When I’m not at the gym, I usually have football training. I also enjoy reading and really any type of sport!
My speciality is working with people in a customer service environment and doing it in a professional manner. I come from a background in digital making and business.
I love the work environment here—it’s a relaxed and professional atmosphere, and the team here are exactly that: a team. We work together to achieve the best possible results.
I’d like people to know that I’m always here to help out with any questions or problems, and I’m glad to be of service.
When I’m not at work, I’m outside enjoying nature—going for walks and hikes, and doing a bit of adventuring.
My background in digital marketing, business, communications, and personal development has laid solid foundations for me to bring professionalism and clear communication to help customers get the most from their time at The Unit Gym.
What I love most about The Unit Gym is the atmosphere—not just from our members and customers, who are all very respectful and easy-going, but also from our staff. In here, we’re all like a group of close friends, not just work colleagues.
Before I started working here, I was doing a course in hospitality and professional cookery. I always thought I had an interest in the cooking side, but I started here near the end of the course and realised I really enjoyed the customer service side—so this job suits me perfectly.
During my course, I completed training in customer service and barista skills.
When I’m not at the gym, I like hanging out with my friends or doing stuff with cars—I’ve got a big interest in them.
I’m currently going through my own fitness journey, so I know exactly what it feels like to get started. Being here training and working has helped me a lot because I don’t feel like I’m getting any judgement from anybody. If I ever need help with anything along the way, everyone here has always been willing to help.
6 events throughout the year to test your consistency, courage and resilience. Expect a similar layout to HYROX events around the world – same reps, runs and intensity!
